Steve Porak passes away

Written by Subject: Events: Arizona
Steve was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer on Wednesday April 10, 2013 and was told by his Oncologist that he had three to six months to live.  Chemotherapy would extend his life for a month or two.  Steve turned down Chemotherapy and has opted to do "The Gerson Therapy" which is a natural plant diet.  "The Gerson Therapy" has a seventy year history of curing cancer. Chemotherapy guaranteed that Steve would die.  "The Gerson Therapy" gave him hope.

Steve was getting better and was breathing well as of last fall. A biopsy was done and things were improving. His wife, Pat (a retired nurse), said the tumors in his soft tissue had shrunk. However, the cancer had metastasized into to his bone (sternum, ribs, spine) presumably after the biopsy and as of last December (2013), Steve was feeling weak and he was in a great amount of pain.

His family came to be around him in his last days until Steve passed away peacefully in his sleep at 3:45 a.m. this morning (March 4th, 2014).

More details about the memorial to follow as they become available.

We will miss Steve very much, and our prayers and well-wishes go to the family...

I met Steve and his wife when they came to a memorial dinner we had after Monroe passed.  Months later, when my dear friend Joan was diagnosed with breast cancer that had metastized to her lungs, I called Steve and he was very supportive and did not hesitate to provide me with valuable information I needed to help my friend.  My heart goes out to his wife and his family.  He was truely one of the good guys.

GrandPoobah, you insensitive Internet forum troll. You miserable medical stooge. A friend passes, a great man in his own right, having been poisoned by the chemotherapy of pollution, the radiation of the whole radio industry, and even the medical, directly, through the few antibiotics he took. And all you can do is slap him down for choosing the only therapy that even had a chance of saving him.

We see you for what you are. Steve, himself, would have spoken out against you - maybe he did; he spoke against your kind, destroyers of the people of the world for a few measly bucks.

Your time will come. And when it does, you won't even have the little that it takes to prepare you for standing before the Judge of all the earth.

Charlotte Gerson claims that treatment at the clinic has produced high cure rates for many cancers. In 1986, however, investigators learned that patients were not monitored after they left the facility [19]. Although clinic personnel later said they would follow their patients systematically, there is no published evidence that they have done so. A naturopath who visited the Gerson Clinic in 1983 was able to track 21 patients over a 5-year period (or until death) through annual letters or phone calls. At the 5-year mark, only one was still alive (but not cancer-free); the rest had succumbed to their cancer [20].

Let me put it another way.  Gerson therapy not only does not heal, it kills.  There is exactly zero actual evidence of this treatment actually saving anybody.   And by evidence, I mean someone actually diagnosed with invasive cancer by an oncologist,. then using this instead of regular therapy, and then being alive 5 years later.  NONE!!! ZERO!!!.  Nada.

What there are, are corpses

I met Steve and Pat a few months ago at his meetings in his home. I am proud to have known Steve because he gave us what we needed to keep our liberties. He taught us the Constitution and our unalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. God Bless Steve as he rests with Him in Heaven. I pray that God will give Pat comfort during her time of mourning.
