Ukraine and Crimea has disturbed the flow of 7.62x39 ammo for us here in the U.S.

It's official - the crisis in Ukraine and Crimea has disturbed the flow of 7.62x39 ammo for us here in the U.S.

For those who do not already know,...the major brand names for commercial 7.62x39 ammo here (primarily Wolf) get their product chiefly from Ukraine. Kiev is now expecting invasion, and so is on a war footing. Ammunition export has ceased. Distributors here have informed their customers (gun shops) that do not not when (if ever) they will have more shipments arriving, and therefore are not taking anymore orders.

Other countries have supplied 7.62x39 to the U.S. domestic market. But Ukraine was the largest source. Russia is the second largest. It is expected Obama will embargo all importation of Russian goods within days, however, so that source (Brown Bear, Silver Bear, Golden Bear,...all from the Ulynovsk depot) are expected to cease soon as well. That leaves Serbian (PPU) and Romanian suppliers as the next in line to fill all orders.

If you need to secure a supply of 7.62x39 ammo,...DO IT NOW, while the prices have not yet gone up.

The "REAL Battle Rifle" certainly is something you will need. But the thing that you will need most is a place to duck with your family from all the friendly fire from REAL Battle Rifles. I mean, if the military, with all their training and organization, occasionally kill each other off by accident, what about all us unorganized, non-military types, who are simply running scared? All "they" will have to do is fire a few shots, sit back, and watch us kill each other off.
