Trilaterals to Meet in D.C. April 25

The Annual Meeting of a little-known but highly influential group will take place in April 25th through April 27th in Washington, D.C. That group is the Trilateral Commission, which is entering its 41st year. The "Trilaterals," as they're sometimes called, continue to play an important role in piecing together wide-ranging free-trade agreements and other building blocks of global government. They cover a lot of ground and have a lot of clout in economic and political matters. But Americans rarely, if ever, hear about the Trilaterals in the news. Last year, the Trilaterals held their Annual Meeting in Berlin, Germany. Regarding recent history, starting in 2002, the Trilaterals have held their main Annual Meeting in Washington every three years.
