Montana
state Rep. Joel Boniek, shown with his mule Jesse, introduced a bill
seeking to exempt from federal regulation any firearm made and used
within the state borders.
An
expanded federal role prompts declarations of state sovereignty.
Montana goes further with a gun bill defying U.S. firearm restrictions.

By Mark Z. Barabak
June 16, 2009 Reporting
from Bozeman, Mont. -- Frustrated by the expanded power of Washington,
a growing number of state lawmakers are defying the federal government
and passing legislation aimed at rolling back the reach of Congress and
President Obama.
While many measures are symbolic ones declaring the sovereignty of
states, some Westerners are taking more dramatic steps. One Utah
lawmaker wants to limit federal law enforcement in his state. In
Montana, legislators enacted a bill that flagrantly ignores federal
firearm restrictions, hoping to f

The top U.S. general in Afghanistan will order U.S.
and NATO forces to break away from fights with militants hiding in
Afghan houses so the battles do not kill civilians. Civilian casualties are a huge source of friction between Afghan
President Hamid Karzai and the United States. The U.N. has reported
that U.S., NATO and Afghan forces killed 829 civilians in the Afghan
war last year.

Truth Nuke
Fear, sorrow, and despair plague the patriot that fights for
independence. As pouring antiseptic in a wound stings, so does the
cleansing of a nation. Many innocent will be lost, and evil at times
will appear victorious. Henceforth, we must remember revolutions are
won by endurance, improvisation, and the will to survive.
Iran has gone from worse to horrific as YouTube videos display the
real effects of change. Horrible that it is to see a young woman
killed, the duping of the Iranian people by CIA and Mossad agents
within Tehran must be the ones held accountable. Since 2007, and
probably earlier, black op insurgents from the United States and Israel
have engaged in a “shadow war” with Iran. Their goal was and still is
to destabilize the region.
Attaining merit within organized history novels, otherwise known as
textbooks, what should be common knowledge is labeled conspiracy theory
by the average beer-guzzling, sports-crazed American. Subjects such as

We found a piece of a plastic packing band and a fragment of a disposable grocery bag along with other small particles. It is important to note that these plastic pieces were found and recovered from depths deeper than the Manta Trawl could collect. It will be interesting to see what the bongo trawls will reveal.

Is Government Health Care Constitutional?
6/22/09
•
online.wsj.com
The right to privacy conflicts with rationing and regulation. Is a government-dominated health-care system unconstitutional? A strong case can be made for that proposition, based on the same "right to privacy" that underlies such landmark Supreme Court decisions as Roe v. Wade....
