Freedom Summit Arizona - March 27th - 28th - 29th
Written by Ernest Hancock Subject: Events: ArizonaNegotiations with hotels are "fluid" right now but we are sticking to the weekend of March 28th & 29th so that travel plans can be arranged by our speakers and regular guests. All Freedom Summits have had in their contract before that firearms are allowed in accordance with State Law, so this often takes on a higher level of 'approval' and causes some delays.
However, it wouldn't be much of a 'Freedom' Summit without our insisting on this contract item,... now would it? Also we feel a lot safer (as do our speakers) in such an environment (take a look at the speaker's lists below and you'll understand why.
"Freedom's the Answer,... What's the Question?"
We hope to have a contract within a couple of weeks if not days. Our delay is due to the increased opportunities for more luxurious locations at reduced rates and upgrades due to cancellations constantly coming in from all of the corporations no longer needing to have an event,... for a company that no longer exists.
We have encouraged the Sales Departments of the various hotels and resorts to confirm the existence of the companies and the various company's needs for the scheduled events.
Interesting opportunities have presented themselves. Stay Tuned :)
As soon as the location is selected we will update our site. Here are some links for a preview of past speakers (take a look and you'll understand why we _knew_ what was coming)
Freedom Summit: Phoenix - Scottsdale - Paradise Valley, AZ 2009 - TBA
======================================
The Freedom Summit is a regular conference dedicated to promoting and advancing human
freedom. To that end, the Freedom Summit program schedules speakers
who have demonstrated their effectiveness in presenting the
intellectual case for freedom.
The Freedom Summit conference offers a highly distinguished
assortment of the best, brightest, and most entertaining people in
the freedom movement today! It
is a stimulating periodic update on the current status of freedom in
our world from several varied perspectives. Rather than seek to
present either an optimistic or pessimistic outlook, the Freedom
Summit strives to present an honest and very straightforward
assessment of the current status of our freedom.
Socialism and other coercive centralized planning schemes have
failed to improve, and indeed have worsened, the human condition. As
such, the Freedom Summit does not encourage or promote any
particular centralized plan to achieve freedom. Rather, the Freedom
Summit encourages individuals to promote freedom in non-coercive
ways which are best suited to their individual talents.
The Freedom Summit is a forum for the vigorous and peaceful
exchange of ideas about how humans ought to interact with each
other. People recently introduced to the concepts of freedom, as
well as lifelong supporters of freedom, are encouraged to attend.
Those who support a coercive government are also welcome to attend
and examine their views in light of the ideas and arguments
presented.

Marc Victor and I benefited from this same sort of negotiation environment in 2001 - 2003 and know to be patient.
Just another benefit of having more information than is provided by Network TV and the Olde' Media.
Updates soon.
