Yes, only a few cities will show it Tax Day weekend, and after a lot of behind the scenes dealing Freedom's Phoenix brings you the first of the trilogy, Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" at the Harkin's Valley Arts Theater.
So Freedom's Phoenix readers will have first crack at tickets, but in a week they should also be available at this insider's link. Much thanks to Dan Harkins and company. Spread the word and prepare to have some pre-event fun.

I am too late for the later showings and was advised that they are sold out, but I called the theater and the good news is that they are playing the movie all week, so I think I'm going to go on Saturday evening. So you early birds will have to be careful not to spoil it for the rest of us. :)

Myself, Donna and several others are going to the 8:50pm show so everyone has time to get home from work and maybe some dinner before and drinks after. No set plans.

Are any local FP people planning on attending a particular showing as a group?

This could never be more timely! I take it that Part 1 means there will be new material? Curious, does Part 1 get us through the entire book? Probably not. I think I see where this is going. Probably planning this to make a monumental statement to the world. Massive blockbuster. Get you hooked and then say, to be continuued... Love it if thats the case!
