Liberty Album Lyrics by Jordan Page

Written by Subject: Entertainment: Music
Jordan Page is a passionate American singer/songwriter spreading a libertarian global message of peace and freedom. His recent album release "Liberty" captures the protesting spirit that is missing in mainstream music in the 21st century.  Liberty is a fundamental concept that is necessary in man to achieve his full potential, and so this message is universal. Whether Christian, Jew, or Muslim; whether English, Arabic, Spanish, or Chinese; Jordan Page's songs speak to the core truth that man must be free at all costs.  His lyrics are available here. Dragons

I can see the chaos fire burning high and creeping slow
Not on some distant horizon, use your eyes!
Its like blood in the driven snow
Under the sun in the clouds of Heaven, I saw the seven headed dragon

& behold! I saw the poor in grief
With just the skin that they’re in and their grinding teeth
When the bread runs out and the well is dry
What will you do to survive when your babies cry?

I saw the sun on the clouds of Heaven,
Whose light revealed the dragon
Serpentine and ravenous for war

& the tribes of men came to gather round
& placed their bids on the floor to secure their crowns
& they ripped down our walls and our laws
& our choices left by the beast who took our voices

& Lightning lit the heavens as the blood of iron dragons
Spilled from deep beneath the ocean floor

Then the people cried out to be saved
& most were forced into their graves
Those who remained were then enslaved
& into their skin a mark engraved

& I looked and I saw the sign
& the shock of the blast wave left me blind
& the oceans rose with the hurricane
& blocked the sun for the earth to be lit with flames

& we all cried “Armageddon” as the seven headed dragon
Laid waste the world that we’d all known before
& settled every score

Dragons covering the world
We stand in the shadows of wings unfurled
The bodies of fragile men collide
But the transformation begins inside

FRONTLINES – JORDAN PAGE

Come take a good look around as the light rolls in
And the smoke covers all in this imagery of sin
But your eyes deceive and your heart will grieve
For a fight you cannot win

On the Frontlines brother I see your pain
Though my anchorman won’t read your name
Just a pawn in someone else’s game
A soldier’s taking aim
On the Frontlines

Come take a good look around at the empty halls
Of your schools laid bare with graffitied walls
Or your classrooms bursting at the seams
With a thousand broken dreams

On the Frontlines I see the miracle
Though their hands are tied and their pay is low
In the war we wage for children’s souls
Our teachers play a role
On the Frontlines

Come take a good look around and you will see
The events leading up to World War Three
But you can’t speak out or you’re you’ll get locked down
& they’ll throw away the key

On the Frontlines I see the path of shame
& I’ll use my voice to prevent the same
Sort of Godless, mindless, evil game
That the fear would make us play

On the Frontlines I we risk everything
Let Washington hear the people sing
With a hundred million voices crying out
Let Freedom ring
On the Frontlines

THE MESSAGE OF FREEDOM

Sons as I write you this letter of days past and days yet to come
And the message of freedom, the message of freedom
I stand at the edge of the pages of history & lessons unlearned,
It feels like these pages are remaining unturned
But boys it’s no mystery
Children I’m sorry to leave you this world in a state of disaster
It was given to me in a similar state, and I woke up so late in the game
Now it’s spiraling faster

Freedom’s the answer, what is the question?
Resist the advances of force and aggression
& leave to your children the promise of something more
& as God is my witness I’ll be a slave no more

Boys listen close for our souls may depend on the actions we take
& the causes we choose to defend, so treat every man as a friend
& Live your own lives in their divine processions
& transform your world with your selfless expressions
& reach out your hands, in time you’ll understand
Children one day I’ll be gone and you’ll have to remember
These words and be strong as you cling to each other,
Your family, your faith, and your father’s song
You’ve known this all along

Freedom’s the answer, what is the question?
Resist the advances of force and aggression
& leave to your children the promise of something more
& as God is my witness I’ll be a slave no more

The message of freedom endured every tyrant and second rate despot
The world’s ever known and for one simple reason
The people have kept it alive
& with no end in sight to the level of violence
That men in high places will sink for to silence
The will of the people, in you it must survive

Freedom’s the answer, what is the question?
Resist the advances of force and aggression
& leave to your children the promise of something more
& as God is my witness I’ll be a slave no more
Is life so dear, or peace so sweet to be purchased with chains from our necks to our feet?
Forbid this Lord, I know not what is left
Give me liberty or give me death

The Reckoning

Through the hazy mist I heard a voice
“You have a chance, so make your choice”
Scarecrows burning take the lead
Born of wealth and nursed by greed

& Now we’ve come to see it right
We can see the future
The day is moving further into night

In vast illusions, unaware
Populations in despair
Surrender all of their control
To the parasite without a soul

& Now we’ve come to set it right
Can’t you see the future?
The day is moving further into night

Terror reigns down from on high
& A thousand lights have set the sky
Aflame at once the military march
Will start things off with a song
You will soon be gone

Send your children off to war
& Hang a ribbon on your door
But you may find the enemy is here
They send their love with a bomb
You will soon be gone

You have a chance to set it right
You don’t want to know the future
& Ignorance won’t save you from the fight

Through the hazy mist I heard a voice
“You had your chance, you made your choice”

The Victory Song

Excitement builds on election day, results come pouring in
A landslide victory for the underdog, a proud and glorious win
And the people cheer between their tears
And call their rising son,
To spread his might and shed his light
On darkness overcome

And the people cry from coast to coast
From sea to shining sea
But the night grows long and the victory song
Has lost its melody

Now the future found in the TV set is clear and strong and bright
Though the world collapses beneath our feet
They swear that all is right
Though brown men drown in their prison cells
& towers fall to dust
But no one questions the official word
In wicked men we trust

And the people cry from coast to coast
From sea to shining sea
But the night grows long and the victory song
Has lost its melody

I won’t stand in yesterday, I believe in the here and now
There’s a revolution coming all you have to do is look around
So rise above the fear and take my hand, you’re not alone
Keep holding on, keep holding on, and don’t ever let go

Now the razor wire, like wildfire, spreads fast across the land
And the laws they break are the lives they take, only because they can
Let the choirs sing, let the drummers drum
Let all who hear this know
We are marching on to the Victory Song
“Let my people go”

& the people cry from coast to coast
From sea to shining sea
But the night has gone and the victory song
Has found its melody

I won’t stand in yesterday, I believe in the here and now
There’s a revolution coming all you have to do is look around
So rise above the fear and take my hand, you’re not alone
Keep holding on, keep holding on, and don’t ever let go

LIBERTY

Why do we sit down when all should be standing?
And why do we back down at the critical moment?
Like running away from the waves of the ocean
We head for the hills with the high tide approaching
As sand slips away from the castle
When its time to stand upright, then why do we falter?
Like placing our freedom on the sacrificial altar
We hold tight to our fears and defend our oppressors
As we fight for their lies and become the transgressors
As pacifists transform to violent aggressors

I’m only a stranger here and I’m a long, long way from my home
And they say I can’t change all the things I find strange, For what can one man do alone?

When is the right time to stand up for freedom?
Could it be when you start to fear creating children?
Who’ll inherit the pain and the debt of this nation
And be slaves to the banks who cause hyperinflation
Who are masters of commerce, lies, and bad legislation
If you looked in the eyes of a thousand young children
Through fences of razors, their innocence stolen
As the red flag of tyranny flies in the open
Is that when you’ll finally notice?

I’m only a stranger here and I’m a long, long way from my home
And they say I can’t change the things I find strange, For what can one man do alone?

I’m only a stranger who’s looking to find better nature in my fellow man
But they keep telling me it’s a sin to be free & that’s more than I’m willing to stand

Where will you be when the order is given?
To censor your mind as free speech is forbidden
As martyrs for peace from the world will be driven
Away by the sound of a bellowing thunder
And choke on the blood of a dream going under
As arrogant men tear up our constitution
And from every direction we cry revolution
Standing together and without permission
Soldiers for Truth in the War of Attrition
The love of our country as our ammunition

I’m only a stranger here and I’m a long, long way from my home
But I’m going to change the things I find strange
For I am not one man alone
Yes I’m only a stranger here and I’m a long, long way from my home
But I’m going to change the things I find strange
For I know that I’m not alone
Yes I know, I’m not alone
Not alone

The Warning

I’m afraid I’ll stop believing at the moment of my death
Let the feeling come, my senses numb, betraying my last breath
I’m afraid I’ll terrify the world with words to rip the seams
On Earth as it is in Heaven holds the weight of heavy, heavy dreams

Let your eyes see me today, voices teaching
& Come alive with the words you were meant to say
The experience is enough to know

I hold on to the hand that lifts my head up when I’m drowning
All these fears are blinding but greater is my gift of sight

I’m afraid of institutions and the miracles I’ve seen
I’m afraid of all the time I’ve lost and the man I might have been
I’m afraid you’ll see my sins in the dark circles of my eyes
With no pretense or prejudice I offer to you my disguise

Let your eyes see me today, voices teaching
& Come alive with the words you were meant to say
The experience is enough to know

I hold on to the hand that lifts my head up when I’m drowning
All these fears are blinding but greater is my gift of sight

You were just a horizon, somebody’s dream in the distance
Falling asleep at the wheel of decision
You persecute poets then quote from their wisdom
You have to deliver these tidings spoken with breath born in love
So grace us with beauty and grant us our tragedy, majesty
As we lie down with roses to plant for the fall

The pleasantries are over, there are voices on the air
& a thousand faces laughing loud have climbed the broken stairs
We set ourselves against the bite of teeth we cannot see
Thy Kingdom Come, my course be run, and let their metal enter me

Let your eyes see me today, voices teaching
& Come alive with the words you were meant to say
The experience is enough to know

We are all just horizons living like dreams in the distance
Falling asleep and the wheel isn’t spinning
Our poets are shaking the bars of their prisons
You don’t have to suffer these warnings
The signs have all been very clear
You don’t understand all that has happened here
So don’t sacrifice God on your altar of fear

The War Machine

Ashes to ashes, we’re falling down
Slaves to the men that stole the crown
There’s a warning sign like a blazing sun
But you don’t want to see it because you’re having fun
Those who control all the information celebrate, and lie to the people to keep them watching

& the walls come crashing down, as the war at home reaches your town
You have no choice, it’s safe and clean, we all submit to the war machine

Consequence be damned,
Send the call for a brawl in a foreign land
While they slide their advantage through the door,
Getting rich off the blood of the fighting poor
But that’s your democracy! One big hypocrisy,
You want me to give my life for country?

Sacrifice yourself today, & don’t think about getting in their way
Camouflaged in black and green, one more gear in the war machine

Consequences so severe, so pull your trigger quickly dear
Our patriots are acting up, lets punish them with fear

& the walls come crashing down, as parades in spades march on your town
They count the votes, they bought the dream, paid in full by the war machine

& so you see the plan, an endless war, a profit scam
while their systems write the news you read, propaganda plant that seed
In the mindless love of a generation captivated, trained, entertained and held in bondage

& the walls come crashing in, like a plague they will blame it on our sins
The choice is posed by men unseen, give yourself to the war machine

Trails

Power; naked in the dying light
Hours disappearing in the dark of night
& I hear laughter in another room
As a bride lays with her groom

Some kind of vicious daydream
Like Venom dripping from the jetstream
And humans as fragile as the dawn
Sing a requiem

Don’t tell me everything’s alright
You’re streaming poison while we sleep at night
Don’t tell me that there ain’t no cure
You’re killin’ off the sick and the old and poor
Everybody’s out to take control
But I won’t go; no I won’t go anymore

A revelation of chemistry and sky
Precipitations and empty battle cries
And years race without an answer
And we face violent cancers
And voices are broken in the requiem

Don’t tell me everything’s alright
I see your poison in the sky tonight
Don’t tell me that there ain’t no cure
You profit off the sick and the old and poor
Everybody’s out to take control
But I won’t go; no I won’t go anymore

The will to power serves only the chosen who invoke it
Just as hunger baits the wolf but only innocence provokes it
Just beyond the secret prison and the hidden iron veil
You can see the past re-written as the setting sun
Illuminates the trails

Don’t tell me everything’s alright
I see your poison in the sky tonight
Don’t tell me that there ain’t no cure
You’re victims are the sick and the old and poor
Everybody’s out to take control
But I won’t go; no I won’t go anymore

LISTEN – Jordan Page

Listen to the sound that you hear like an echo in your head
There’s a strange vibration rising
Out from the heart of America, America
Listen to the sound of the drum calling players to the game
Of the New World Order Don’t be caught unaware
When the heads start rolling

No, it couldn’t happen here
I know it wouldn’t happen here

I will not submit to authority of man
I’m alive I’m awake This is more than I can take
If you had an open door
Would you kill a little more?

Listen to the cries of the dead in the wake of the Sudan
Is there no one out there? I see blood in the sands of despair in Africa
Listen to the sound of applause in a chamber full of men
Selling out their people as they plan their assault on the heart of America

No, it couldn’t happen here
I know it wouldn’t happen here

I will not submit to authority of man
I’m alive I’m awake This is more than I can take
If you had an open door
Would you kill a little more?

There’s a war machine in motion and the bullets fall as rain
& The light in the eyes of the innocent has faded into pain
Yesterday I knew the world was spinning toward the end
Today I see the wasteland and it’s too late to pretend

Listen to the words of the man with a rifle in his hand
“Don’t be mistaken, I believe in peace, but I won’t be taken”
I will not submit to authority of man
I’m ready to die but not for a lie
See the signs appear
You know its gonna happen here

Year of Youth

Come all you young people, Its time to rejoice
& claim your inheritance, raise up your voice
The lantern of Liberty’s leading the way
In a year for the youth this is New Year’s Day

When a law is unjust it is no law at all
It takes courage to stand up knowing well you may fall
There’s a reason and purpose to the time that we live
When our youth to the cause is the least we can give
    & I know I’m leaving today
Though the road may be dark and I don’t know the way
If truth is a question, the answer is found
When free men and women in one voice resound

Come all you young people, Its time to rejoice
& claim your inheritance, raise up your voice
The lantern of Liberty’s leading the way
In a year for the youth this is New Year’s Day

Presidents come and they go like the tide
& public opinion, it sways side to side
Like the tops of the trees, where the strongest wind blows
As the smell of corruption fills everyone’s nose
    & I say I’m leaving today
Though the road may be twisted I won’t lose my way
If life is a question frail and un-posed
Will you seek out its answer, though the gate may be closed?

Come all you young people, Its time to rejoice
& claim your inheritance, raise up your voice
The lantern of Liberty’s leading the way
In a year for the youth this is New Year’s Day

When truth is unbridled I know in my soul
I’ll never be chained by their systems of fear and control

    Oh I’m leaving today
& I hope that the pendulum’s heading my way
If youth is a moment too fragile and brief
There’ll be no holding on when age come likes a thief

Come all you young people, Its time to rejoice
& Stand up for your freedom, come raise up your voice
The lantern of Liberty’s leading the way
In a year for the youth this is New Year’s Day

HERE, THERE, AND EVERYWHERE

Well the end times are approaching, just like storm clouds down the line
But its started raining early and you’re running out of time
& the devil’s in your basement, he’s climbing up the stairs
He’s here there and everywhere

There’s horror in the headlines and its getting worse each day
So if you want to hear some good news, get yourself to church and pray
Cause when the devil is your anchorman he chooses what to share
He’s here there and everywhere

Maybe the road is hidden, maybe you stopped looking too
Maybe you’ll find you’re not so colorblind, maybe there’s something left to do

As the politicians argue and the soldiers fight the war
You’re barely keeping score
Cause the devil’s in your television stirring up a scare
He’s here there and everywhere
Your government is planning the apocalypse today
& you’re happy to lay down and let them send you on your way
Cause the devil’s in your mirror, he’s working on his stare
He’s here there and everywhere

They take away our rights easy as turning off the lights
& then they tell us that there’s nothing we can do
But I’m gonna tell my sons the great dark battle can be won
When they say Daddy will you tell us something true?”

Borders are dissolving like imaginary lines
& we’ll be dancing in the death camps while the trains are keeping time
Cause the devil’s in the White House, in a big fat comfy chair
He’s here there and everywhere
And the CFR, the Bilderbergs, and Banksters rule the game
& each of them are running from the finger pointing blame
& I know you’ll blame the devil when you’re running out of air
He’s here there and everywhere
He’s here there and everywhere

Sons of Abraham

Isaac said to Ishmael, “I am the chosen one”
Ishmael replied with confidence “But I’m the first born son”
& Father Abraham whose lack of faith was sure to blame
Cast aside his older son and gave the younger boy his name
& From that day division has increased across the land
Bloodshed and religion are both practiced hand in hand
Fighting for identity and a place to lay a claim
Old Abraham’s grandchildren fight eternally in vain

& Everybody knows this kind of madness ends in pain
And the mighty judgment down the track will catch us all the same
And if you see the fireball descending from above
Its just Ishmael and his brother in the fight for Daddy’s love

Old memories that date back to the days after the flood
And a hatred born from Abraham’s betrayal of his blood
While everybody is waiting for their savior to return
And if you don’t believe what they believe you’re gonna burn

& Everybody knows this kind of madness always ends in pain
And the mighty judgment down the track will catch us all the same
And if you see the fireball descending from above
Its just Isaac and his brother in the fight for Daddy’s love

Now Israel and Palestine are ancient holy lands
Where prophets walked and freely talked of brotherhood of man
And families on both sides of the fence can all agree
It’s their right to be there and they want their children to be free
But if the rockets blazing o’er the fences land in your backyard
And the look of wonder in your child’s face is burned and scarred
And the ceasefire in your belly has erupted into war
And the only peace you’ll ever find is settling the score

Please remember that this kind of madness always ends with pain
And the mighty judgment down the track will catch us all the same
And if you see the fireball descending from above
Its just Isaac and his brother in the fight for Daddy’s love
And if you look up and see the fireball racing ‘cross the sky
Go ask Isaac and his brother Ishmael, to tell you why

Rolling Wheel

Come, lay your head down here beside me
The rain can’t reach us here, its safe and dry
This silence is a season all its own
This moment can never be told
To anyone, anyone

Hey, listen to me for a while
I need someone to hear and you’re the one that I want it to be
All beautiful things begin in pain
Most people just throw them away
But not today, not today

I have seen my life like a rolling wheel
I can’t shake the things I don’t want to feel

Please, stay here with me I need some time
Help me work it out, where do I draw the line?
Teach me to free my soul cause I want you to know
This is the time I gotta make it show
I’m not alone, not alone

I have seen my life like a rolling wheel
I can’t shake the things I don’t want to feel

When you found me waiting by the door
You asked me baby what you waiting for?
Cause there’s a lot of people out there dyin
For nothing

Push all the boundaries, do it right
But don’t try to explain the reasons why

I have seen my life like a rolling wheel
I can’t shake the things I don’t want to feel

I’m feeling something, I wanna make it clear
There’s a truth out there if you’ll let yourself hear it
Come and take my hands and we’ll make amends
We were strangers once now we’ve found our friends

I have seen my life like a rolling wheel
I can’t shake the things I don’t want to feel

Until the Race is Run

I picked up an angel whose left wing was broken
I sewed him together with some string and a vision
He raised his right hand and he gave me an answer
My mouth opened wide and I asked many questions
I see crowds of people all gathered around me
They all want the truth but they don’t want to hear it
I fear they will rob me if I dare to speak it
But poverty bears the fruit of the prophet

And oh, I am nothing but an old bag full of bones
If I can’t feel my soul burning out in the cold
And all that I ask for please let it be done
Let my feet keep moving until this race is run

I spent all my life in the shadow of dreamers
In the warped human drama that elevates cheaters
But where will I go when the curtain has fallen?
When the theatre’s quiet and the encore’s been taken?

Well all I can offer is a voice some hands and song
But I’ll keep on singing until tht voice is gone
All that I ask for please let it be done
Let my feet keep running until this race is won

And people will change like the leaves from summer to fall
But too many winters will make them forget that they ever changed color at all
And history should be a mirror
Its more like a blank chalkboard on the wall
Maybe someday, maybe someday

And if there is beauty I know I will see it
And if its held prisoner I’ll break chains to free it
I’ll ride through the cities like Christ on a donkey
When I know that Jesus is sitting beside me
And if any man shall ask he’ll be given
And from him who steals much more will be taken
Cause there’s many wrong roads that lead to the prison
So pray for us sinners a squabblin’ and fightin’

Some things in this world mean nothing, some things mean even less
As you go from one state of motion to another of rest
All that I would love to see happen, Lord can it be done?
Let my feet keep moving until this race is run
All that I ask for please let it be done
Let my feet keep running until this race is run

Dear Jordan, Thank you my brother. I am sincerely blessed by your music, especially the Liberty album. If I had my desires, I would have a radio station and would play your music frequently. As it is I have been limited to playing it loudly while driving, which does no justice to your talent . I can only hope that I will be given an opportunity to put together a venue at some time in the near future that would feature you and a back up band. As much as I liked your performance at the Liberty Pac conference in Reno 2011, I prefer the full impact of the electric guitar, keyboards etc. I hope you and your family are well, and pray that we may meet again in this world. Shalom to you and yours and may the Lord bless you with the peace of knowing that you have reached some here in America. Paul
