Trump Regime Hostility Toward China Escalates

The US has interests, not allies. Increasingly it's making more adversaries than friends.

Pressuring, bullying, threatening, and attacking other nations is a losing strategy longterm. 

Will the Trump regime become isolated in the world community over its policies toward Russia, China, Iran, Venezuela, and other sovereign independent countries?

Are its imperial wars self-defeating? Is it doomed to go the way of all other empires throughout history because of its hubris, arrogance, and rage to dominate all other nations?

If past is prologue, it seems certain eventually - unless its rage to dominate kills us all.

US political and economic war against nations unwilling to bend to its will risks far more dangerous conflicts than already, including unthinkable use of nuclear weapons, the ultimate nightmarish scenario.

Unacceptable US hostility toward Russia could lead to direct confrontation. Baseless accusations against the Kremlin are counterproductive. 

Yet they continue endlessly, the latest ones discussed in a same-day article - no more credible than earlier ones, aimed at destroying any attempts by Trump to improve bilateral relations.

They're unattainable with practically the entire Congress and major media unacceptably hostile to Moscow - for its sovereign independence, opposition to US imperial wars, and support for multi-world polarity, policies Republicans and undemocratic Dems reject.

US envoy to NATO Kay Bailey Hutchison sounded like Pompeo, Bolton and Haley, threatening force against Russia, saying "we would be looking at the capability to take out (Russian) missile(s) that could hit any of our countries," adding:

"Counter measures would be to take out the missiles that are in development by Russia in violation of the treaty. They are on notice."

Hutchison falsely claimed they violate the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF). Most ominously, she threatened US war on Russia.

Washington is a serial treaty and other international law violator - not Moscow, not at war with any other countries or threatening them, how the US operates.

The Trump regime's hostility toward China is escalating dangerously.

On Thursday, Mike Pence shamefully accused Beijing of trying to undermine the Trump regime politically, economically, and over trade.

He falsely claimed China is "proactive(ly) and coercive(ly) interfer(ing) in the domestic policies and politics of the United States. China wants a different American president."

His remarks came days after Trump unacceptably accused Beijing of interfering in America's November midterm elections - citing no evidence because there is none. Nor does anything support Pence's baseless accusations.

US claims about Russia, China, or any other nations interfering in America's political process are consistently fabricated.

Not a shred of evidence supports them. Washington notoriously interferes illegally in the internal affairs of most other countries, including their political process.

In late September, Axios said the Trump regime has "secret anti-China plans," adding it "plan(s) to launch a major, 'administration-wide,' broadside against China, according to two sources briefed on the sensitive internal discussions."

An unnamed White House official was quoted, saying "(w)e're not just going to let Russia be the bogeyman. It's Russia and China" - along with Iran, Venezuela, and other sovereign independent countries.

According to Axios, Trump officials intend accusing China of "malign activity," including "cyberattacks, election interference and industrial warfare…"

"We are going to show how the Chinese have infiltrated the US and what we are doing to counter it," said an unnamed US source.

Trump earlier calling President Xi Jinping "great," expressing support for his leadership, the sentiment now appearing long gone at least from US actions.

On Friday, China's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying denounced "unwarranted (US) accusations against China's domestic and foreign policies," adding:

"The international community (knows) who wantonly infringes upon others' sovereignty, interferes in others' internal affairs, and undermines others' interests. Any malicious slander on China is futile."

Beijing cancelled a late September security meeting with Trump officials in Washington over illegally sanctioning the country for purchasing Russian SU-35 combat aircraft and S-400 missile defense systems - its legitimate right.

China demanded the US "immediately redress its wrongs and withdraw related sanctions," adding its military reserves the right to take further countermeasures.

Escalated bilateral trade friction, along with provocative US naval activities close to Chinese waters, threaten a more serious breach in relations than already.

Washington is its own worst enemy, each new regime more extreme and hostile to world peace and cooperative relations with other countries than its predecessors.

Pushing things too far could ignite global war. Western politicians and media ignore what's potentially most ominous.
