Slum Lord/Zionist Ideologue Jared Kushner Denigrates Palestinians

by Stephen Lendman ( - Home - Stephen Lendman)

Trump's no-peace/deal of the century peace plan Kushner and fellow Zionist ideologue Jason Greenblatt are spearheading are dead before arrival.

Their scheme all about serving Israeli interests exclusively at the expense of fundamental Palestinian rights — offering them nothing but unconditional surrender terms, accept or suffer more than already.

Kushner is more geopolitically incompetent than his father-in-law Trump, clearly shown by unacceptable remarks in a weekend Axios interview on HBO.

He turned truth on its head in response to being asked if he's "ever seen (Trump) say or do anything that (he'd) describe as racist or bigoted."

"(A)bsolutely not," he said, a bald-faced Big Lie. DJT' racist war on unwanted aliens, Muslims from the wrong countries, and Black Americans speaks for itself.

In 1973, the Justice Department sued his Trump Management company for discriminating against Black renters, the case settled without admission of guilt.

During Obama's tenure, he promoted the discredited "birtherism" conspiracy against him, the false notion that he's not a US citizen.

For years, he falsely accused a group of Black and Latino teenagers of raping a white woman in the 1989 Central Park jogger case they had nothing to do with.

He lied countless times about unwanted Mexican and Central American aliens, falsely calling them rapists, drugs traffickers, and people "bringing crime" to the US.

He shamefully denigrated a Mexican-American judge. He links people of color to violent crimes.

Kushner ducked a question on whether he thinks Jews have "a God-given right" to what Israeli politicians calls Judea and Samaria — the West Bank and Jerusalem.

He begged off discussing his disturbing relationship with despotic Saudi crown prince Mohammad bin Salman.

The future Saudi king earlier said he has Kushner "in his pocket." His most disturbing remarks were about Palestinians.

Asked if they should or could expect freedom from Israeli occupation, he said "I think that it's a high bar."

Despite saying they "should have self-determination," he stopped short of indicating it means statehood free from militarized Israeli control, instead saying: "I'm going to leave the details until we come out with the actual plan."

Last month, he suggested Trump regime opposition to a two-state solution, saying "(i)f you say 'two-state,' it means one thing to the Israelis. It means one thing to the Palestinians."

"We said, you know, let's just not say it. Let's just say, let's work on the details of what this means."

Especially disturbing was his response to being asked whether Palestinians are competent to self-govern: "That's one that we'll have to see," he said, adding: "The hope is that they, over time, will become capable of governing."

They "need to have a fair judicial system…freedom of press, freedom of expression, tolerance for all religions" before they can become "investible."

According to Gaza office of the Euro-Med Monitor for Human Rights official Muhammad Shehada, Kushner's denigration of Palestinians may have driven a stake through the heart of Trump's deal of the century, adding:

"The most disturbing" part of the scheme is that "Palestinians are losing faith fast with the foundational idea of peace through negotiations."

"The humiliating and extremely biased parameters of the deal – and its methodology of battering Palestinians into submission and defeat – is causing wide and ever-growing disillusionment amongst Palestinians with the peace process itself and the path of negotiations."

"The peace camp is now shamed and silenced for having invested faith in and wasted decades on negotiations that led to Kushner's deal, while hardliners are now conveniently and gleefully shouting at them: 'We told you so!' "

Arrogance and contempt for fundamental Palestinian rights define the positions of Trump,  Zionist ideologue Kushner, his likeminded sidekick Greenblatt, and fellow extremist David Friedman, DJT's envoy to Israel.

Add Netanyahu, Ziofascists and religious fundamentalists infesting his regime to the Trump crowd, and you've got a toxic mix hostile to Palestinian liberation - a notion they reject.
