The Director of the U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency, Lisa Jackson, will be in town to make a speech at the Board of Directors
Meeting of the Edison Electric Institute. U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham
(North Carolina) will also be attending the meeting. They will be at the
meeting to thank the Institute for supporting Cap & Trade.
Arizona State Senator Sylvia Allen held hearings on
Cap & Trade this summer. The hearings illustrated how completely
fraudulent the whole theory of global warming is and how destructive the Cap
& Trade legislation will be if it passes. Senator Allen will be at the
rally and will speak at 8:30 a.m.
Please come to this rally. It's very
important to register opposition to the Cap & Trade legislation pending in
Washington. If it passes, your electric utility rates will "skyrocket,"
which even the President admits. Every product that is manufactured will
increase in price because of the increased costs of production, and the federal
government will assume control of yet another industry -- the energy
industry.
