Jim Duensing Desperately Needs Our Help
Jet Lacey 602-274-2748 Website: The R3VOLution Continues with Jet Lacey Date: 06-10-2010 Subject: Activism
On October 29th, 2009, on his way home from the Tea Party Express II
tour stops in Northern Nevada, Jim Duensing, a lawyer and independent
candidate for United States Senator, was stopped by a motorcycle traffic
cop for a routine traffic offense; driving straight through a right
hand only lane.
While calmly talking to the officer with his hands over his head, Jim
was shot in the chest with an electric rifle. While pulling the prongs
out of his chest, Jim ran from the source of the electrocution, still
experiencing the 50,000 volts of electricity in his hands and arms.
While running away with empty hands from yet another taser shot, Jim was
shot from behind with three 45 caliber hollow point bullets. One
destroyed his left abdominal muscles. Another ripped through his right
pectoral muscle. Both of those bullets miraculously missed all vital
organs. And, the third shot shattered Jim's humerus bone just above his
left elbow, taking large chunks of his bicep, and requiring two
surgeries. The arm will never fully heal, but thanks to some wonderful
surgeons and the help of several rehabilitation specialists, Jim has
regained most of the range of motion and some of the strength in that
arm.
To protect "their" officers against the civil charges stemming from
officer David M. Gilbert's abuse of power and attempted homicide of Jim
Duensing, the prosecutor denied Jim a public pre-trial hearing and
instead has charged Jim with felony resisting arrest through a secret
Grand Jury hearing he wasn't even able to attend or learn the specific
time of until it was completed.
Jim needs your help to defend himself against the criminal charges the
system is bringing against him. Good criminal lawyers are not cheap.
And, time is of the essence.
Every donation helps, no matter how small. Just $10 donated from only
5,000 good people across this nation will cover the legal and
investigatory expenses that Jim is facing. No donation is too big or
too small. 5, 10, 25, 100 ... a single dollar. Many hands make light
work.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
In Liberty, with Eternal Vigilance,
Jim Duensing |
