A couple was walking in a residential neighborhood in a large city when they spied a man lying on the pavement next to the curb. They inquired as to his condition and he assured them he was ok.

They persisted.

He continued to insist he was ok.

"Well," one of the couple finally asks, "if your doing so well, why are you lying in the road?"

To which he replied, "Me and the ol' lady were walkin' around just like you when we spied this parking place, so I sent her out to buy a car!"
