Americans have not lost their freedom. If anything, they have given it up through ignorance. The only people with whom the United States may have authority to destroy the Bill of Rights, is with those under certain kinds of contract, agreement or quasi-contract/agreement with the United States – Social Security, Armed Forces, Postal, etc. State republic Citizens, living on the land within the territorial borders of said state republic, are under no such loss of rights if there are no other agreements with the U.S.

This is true. But it has actually been coming for decades. It didn't start with Bush. It actually started around 1850, if not before.
