Who knows how much of it will be used, but on a live phone call to the mayor of Veracruz (where the first case of H1N1 was reportedly discovered), he said 1) the kid who was diagnosed was with him, now playing football with his friends (5 year old) 2) they sent lots of flu tests to CDC and his was the only one that came back H1N1, and 3) there actually was a huge pork raising facility in the area owned by an outfit from Minnesota. The interview got cut kinda short, but they do that for time, sometimes, rather than for content. However, the "expert" they had invited to talk about it clear did NOT expect that information and was slightly flustered when it was time for him to intone how critical this crisis is....grin.

I smell a rat. Isn't tamiflu the stuff we were all supposed to go and get when the latest boogieman was the bird flu?

Looks like this flu may have escaped. CNN had a live interview with the mayor of Veracruz, where the first case was discovered, coincidentally near a pork producer's place and guess where the company was based...Minnesota. I believe in some coincidence, but this one's a bit too weird to just ignore.
