Isn't christianity also a culture of surveillance? According to the holy bible I believe god is supposed to be omniscient: all seeing, all knowing, he knows when you've been sleeping, he knows when you're awake, he knows when you've bad or good... Doesn't the whole christian mythology scare the crap out of you since it is based on a voyeuristic god?
