If ever Jefferson's comment about the Tree of Liberty was relevant to a local tyrant, this son-of-a-bitch certainly qualifies.
The purpose of the Second Amendment was for the new citizens to protect our new nation government from totallitarian government that had just been driven from our shores.
The intent was for us to possess Military type weapons to protect our future. To throw out any government that no longer met the needs of the citizens to continue to have Freedoms.
NOT for sport or hunting, but to protect Americans from treason by elected officials who want to end our Rights.
