The military has better things to worry about than biblical inscriptions on ACOGs. It is clearly a choice made by Trijicon, not the military. I'm guessing 95% of US troops didn't even know it was there.
I've never been in combat, but if I had my choice of non-Jesus iron sights or pro-Jesus ACOG, I will take the ACOG. Make the reticle a 4MOA picture of Jesus for all I care.
