Oh boo-bloody-hoo.  When Israel handed over Gaza to the Palestinians, the place came fully furnished with houses, infrastructure and working utilities.  The Palestinians let everything decay, and then began lobbing rockets over the border at Israel.  Quite often, they fired those rockets from schools, hospitals, water stations and power-plants.  After about 6000 rockets had hit them, the Israelis sent out their bombers and shot back -- right at the spots where their cameras told them the rockets came from.  That's how Gaza's infrastructure got smashed, and the Palestinians haven't rebuilt it themselves.  Note that even while they went crying to the UN for help, the Palestinians kept right on throwing rockets at Israel!  And they still try it, on odd weekends.  Sooner or later the Israelis will come bomb them again, of course. 

What did they expect?  And what kind of fools do they think the rest of us are? 

Well, judging from the pity-the-poor-Palestinians, aren't-the-wicked-Jews-awful crap we see sprouting up on the Internet these days, a few of us really are that stupid.
