Well, there is a lot to say here, so, 3 points.

1. Jesus was not an anarchist. He is THE KING. His kingdom may not be of this world, but He is still The King. Why? It is in His Revelation words: "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End." Notice that there is no middle. When a person dies, he forgets everything that has happened here. He forgets this whole life. Isaiah says that once the realm of the hereafter comes into being, none of this will ever be remembered or brought to mind. Even God Himself will put it all behind Him. Jesus is the Beginning and the End. No middle exists except for a short moment here. He died and arose again, and lives forever and ever... the Alpha and the Omega.

2. There are two places in the Old Testament where God calls King David a man after His own heart. Yet, David was one of the bloodiest kings that ever lived. God even told him that he could not build the temple at Jerusalem because he was so bloody. The point? God does not change. Christians of today are supposed to fight if necessary, to maintain the Kingdom that is within... to spread salvation to the ends of the earth.

3. Listen to Bible CDs over and over. Listen to the Bible on CD. Why? Because it is different when you hear it than if you read it only. Listen to the N.T. 3 or 4 times for every listening of the O.T.. Listen to it over and over again, no matter how boring it might seem, because this is the clearest way that the Holy Spirit talks to you. Don't neglect reading it. But DO listen to it, 30 minutes to 60 minutes, every day, for the rest of your life. You will hear from God many wonderful things that you miss when you listen to the church speak, or even when you only read the Bible.
