Just a thought. There is a company called Young Living. They manufacture their own essential oils. It is claimed that they have the purest and best. It is also claimed that they are the largest of their kind, being an essential oil nutritional MLM company.

On their website (http://www.youngliving.com/), in the directions for using their essential oils, many (all?) of the individual oil uses include the optional direction of placing some of the oil into a standard empty gelatin capsule and "take"-ing it. I assume that they mean to swallow the capsule with the oil in it.

What is interesting about this idea - the ingesting of essential oils idea - is that the oils are claimed to have certain, usually high, ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity - Google: "ORAC value") values. This means that they neutralize free-radical oxygen in a person's system. And the benefits can be multitudinous. In fact, the benefits might include the neutralization of multitudes of diseases like cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and even leukemia, to say nothing about weaker diseases.

Now, it seems that the Young Living company has had its battles with the FDA. And they are not allowed (just like any nutritional or health company) to advertise any medical benefits with regard to their products. Yet the number of distributors that they have seems to be growing, even in the bad economy, unlike most nutritional companies that are MLM, which are dying along with the rest of the economy.

Now what does this tell you? It tells me that people have found something good in YL EOs, and they are not going to be bluffed and lied to by the FDA.

Many people have tried to get rich - or at least earn a little extra money with Multi-Level nutritional companies. But when they found that it didn't work, often after they lost $thousands trying, they consider MLM to be bad. This means that it probably isn't the MLM part of Young Living that is keeping the company alive and well. More than likely, the products do things that most other nutritional products don't do.
