Scheuer is admirably trying to push the focus back onto the main issues. Why then doesn't he get down to the other basics and tell this jerk "I was asked to come here today for testimony and questioning. EXCUSE ME, DID YOU COME HERE FOR THAT OR TO LECTURE ME?" We take too much we don't have to. We're wimps. We (and I do mean we) need to constantly insist that the BASICS OF THE BASICS be adhered to. Our hero could also have said, for instance, "It's clear this fool only wants to filibuster. Are you going to let him? I protest!" Or asked the other systemites if they had any questions for him.
