Even an Ozarks Coroner Gets Surplus Military Guns
• ABC NewsDoug Wortham used a Defense Department giveaway program for law enforcement to stock his office with an assault rifle, a handgun and a Humvee — even though the people in his custody are dead.
The point is the same throughout all the anti-terrorism propaganda. If the Government wants to protect people, supply EVERYBODY with military grade weapons.
People are people. Law enforcement and coroners are not non-people. Since they are people, and since they are Americans, why not supply ALL Americans with armament.
Same with the military. Military personnel are simply people. If they have weapons, shouldn't all of the rest of the people have weapons?
If the whole country were armed for military-like action, ALL the terrorists would just fade away. Even the terrorists that might harm a coroner.
