Japanese firm devises plan for an Ocean Spiral community that descends nine miles to the seabed
Japan has lots of people who just might labor to do this. But what is unique about Japan is, they also a leader in computer robotics. They just might use computer robotics for things that can't be done by the people, or things that the people don't want to do.
What's interesting is, Japan doesn't seem to fear the Fukishima "fallout." Will the oceans be radioactive? Will the people NOT be able to live in them? Well, if it turns out this way, the robots can live there.
