Christine Neumann-Ortiz - 'casts too wide a net, abusing due process rights so that someone who is innocent of a charge will still end up in deportation proceedings.”

Ah....a person who is innocent of a criminal charge isn't going to end up in deportation proceedings unless there is significient evidence that he is in the country illegally - an offense initself, and a deportation proceeding is due process.   And, considering there are an estimated 12 to 24 million people in this country illegally, that net being cast is not too wide, nor is it an abuse of due process.
