What’s happening in Egypt is NOT a Revolution. It is just a power-grab using the enraged mob. A true revolution is the working of principles, not the workings of clubs, pugs and thugs in the street. Think properly: Revolutions begin in the best heads and run steadily down to the populace (Metternich), not from the heads of Islam fundamentalists Al Azhar and the Muslim Brotherhood wanting to take control of Egypt, aided by the Obama puppets VP Omar Suleiman and opportunist Mohamed ElBaradei, a salivating glutton for power.

Unfortunately, radical libertarians angling for change through violence (anarcho-Libertarian extremists) becloud the critical issues in Egypt’s problem since to them a revolution is moved only by the people’s emotion – not by reason or intellect – and it begins only when people start throwing rocks and stones in the street and the police or the military starts bashing heads with truncheons and firing their machineguns into the crowd.

Read my message to those fellow-libertarians who obscure the real issues in Egypt’s turmoil:

FP.com Libertarians Should Not Stonewall Egypt’s Critical Issues In The Name Of Freedom

Date of Letter: 2011-02-08.

This is followed by Crisis Letter To FP.com: The Forcible Rape Of Libertarian Principles 2011-02-10.

Rather than stay like zombies in this intellectual vacuum, read …no one should remain less wiser than the dumb and damned.
