Muse wins Grammy for Best Rock Album
• MTVMuse, led by libertarian frontman Matthew Bellamy, rocked the Grammy Awards with a live performance of Uprising, a song inspired by John Perkins's Confessions of an Economic Hitman. The band won a Grammy for their album The Resistance.
I am glad that some pop musicians are apparently championing the idea of freedom, but 'Best Rock Album'? Is this what passes for 'rock' these days? I have a hard time listening to this noise. It's monotonous and really lacks expressiveness or virtuosity. Listening to Muse is like listening to a diesel truck idling and the vocals sound like there is a loose belt squealing on it. Just MHO.
