What Has Bin Laden's Killing Wrought?

That depends on how far back in U.S. history you're talking about, doesn't it? The U.S. Constitution authorizes the govt. to provide for our "common defense", and when it came to Slimy Ben Loudmouth he quite simply lost the right to live after what he did to thousands of Americans and others, so as Pres. Bush put it, with him it was Wanted: Dead or Alive, strike the last part, and good shooting. The real question is why we leave Pakistan festering with its Islam and nukes when we have all-but proved they harbored Slimy for years while stealing us blind and laughing at us behind our backs.
As to the Afghan war, it was always a waste because it wasn't part of a systematical global war on the ideology of Islam designed to stop indoctrination of children by the Quran and help the Muslim world to rejoin the human race, so yes, the sooner we pull out the better. In the future, until we do declare war on Islam, the U.S. would do better to limit itself to short surgical strikes in the Muslim world to knock out particularly big snakes in the grass, and never waste one dime on "nation building" when it doesn't include the "No Qurans to Kids" rider. Either Obama must get with it or the next president will have to deal with Iran, and now Egypt, Turkey, Syria et al., who are all slowly encircling Israel for the final extermination.
