Funny you should cite Article 80 of the UN Charter because Article also guarantees that the decisions of the League of Nations are still valid. One of those decisions is that the entire area of the British Mandate of Palestine is to be the Jewish homeland and that the Jews have the right to settle anywhere on that territory.

Jordan lost it when they lost in the 1967 war with Israel. That was after Israel asked Jordan not to join the other Arab states in the war against Israel... The one where all the Arab papers threatened to destroy Israel, and drives the Jews into the sea. But Jordan did Join the other nations (foolishly believing the lying arabs that they were winning...) and lost the battles and the war, and the land. That land that had been part of Jordan for 20 years, and could have been turned into a Palestinian state at any time since it was run and owned by Arabs. But arabs to not do that. What they do is lie.
