[[The New York Times made an unusually candid revelation in 1982 quoting from a speech in which Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin, who held that top post from 1977 to 1983, admitted that the 1967 war was carefully pre-planned by Israel.

“In June 1967, we had a choice,” Begin said. “The Egyptian Army concentrations in the Sinai approaches do not prove that Nasser was really about to attack us. We must be honest with ourselves. We decided to attack him.”]]

It's little things like that that make me smile, time for some Polident. After Israel won the Six-Day War hands-down and expanded its territory 3.5 times, Moshe Dyan declared "I'm waiting for a phone call" from the Arabs to negotiate a lasting peace. What was their response? On Aug. 29, 1967 after checking their Qurans to get their orders from dead Allah, the Khartoum Arab League Summit in Sudan convened, blaming the secular govts. of the Arab world for the D and demanding a return to Islamic fundamentalism. On Sept. 1 it proclaimed the Khartoum Resolution, with the "Three Nos": no peace, no negotiations, and no acceptance of Israel. 44 years later, there's no change, except for the Freedom Flotillas backed by Israel-hating terrorist org. Hamas.

The misnamed Freedom Flotillas are really Jihad Flotillas designed to break Israel's blockade of Gaza that is Gaza's own fault after launching thousands of rockets into Israel. It's not about Gazans starving, since they can send all the real humanitarian supplies they want via Egypt. It's about ISLAM - the evil ideology that demands total control of the world and every square inch in the name of Allah, and will never tolerate any Jewish state of anything anywhere.

So, Islam ignoramus Ray McGovern is whistling Dixie. With this kind of agitprop, sorry.
