"THEY" murdered him? Who is "they?" If you mean the American pilot of a P-38 who shot out the engine of plane Admiral Yamamoto was in, causing it to crash on the island of Bougainville, then you are correct.
If you're thinking that he was done in by the Japanese militarists, then you couldn't be more wrong.
