Welcome to the Freedom Forum of Freedom's Phoenix!

Freedom reigns here like the days of the old Wild West! We have no corporate or government censors to tell you what you can and cannot say in our public forums. We encourage everyone to keep a civil tongue, but you are free to express your opinions no matter what your perspective is on any subject -- just be prepared for someone else to have an entirely opposite view and tell the world you don't know what you are talking about!

Some entries, which our regular editors consider too vulgar -- according to their standards, may be tagged "Crude or Lewd" so the faint-of-mind folks don't have to view them, but everyone can use the link on the right-hand column to decide for themselves whether to show those entries or not.

Anyone may read the discussions shown in our forum. You will need to sign-up as a member and provide your name and valid email address to be able to add comments and participate in the discussions. There is no cost to join.

As past presidents have done, Trump will pardon every person charged by Muller, probably before trials begin. He will be wise to fire and indite Muller at the same time, for conspiracy with comey who leaked documents and coveted up dem crimes.

It never ceases to amaze me when libertarians defend America's enemies, Never mind, of course, that Communism has killed millions of people and North Korea is one of the most brutal Communist regimes of them all. In the author's mind, if America takes any action to defend herself it is force. If regimes, like North Korea, attack or are belligerent toward the United States, it is understandable. In the end, it's always the U.S.' fault, never theirs.

No, it is not the U.S. Government. And such suits cannot stand if the people won't let them. Rather, it is people in Government doing this. If you are harmed, sue them the same way you would do a small claims suit - person to person, in a common law court, not person to government official.

The Bitcoin blockchain is an encrypted "ledger" of Bitcoin transactions. It is almost 170 gigabytes in size. Thousands (Millions?) of people have downloaded it to their personal computers. The encryption is such that if any one blockchain on any one computer is tampered with, or is otherwise corrupted, it will be rejected by the group in consensus fashion. Miner creations of new bitcoins is built into the Bitcoin-core located at https://bitcoin.org/en/download. The mining, itself, is separate from the blockchain until a new block has been mined, which then becomes part of the blockchain. Anybody who has Core on his computer can mine for new blocks. Because of big miners and ASICs, mining with a regular computer is impractical.

My knowledge of bitcoin may be imperfect, but I was led to believe that the act of "mining" was actually crowdsourced computation that served to bookkeep other people's transactions in the global blockchain, and the "mined coins" were actually a commission for performing the bookkeeping computations required to maintain the bitcoin system. Is that not true?

There are only a few things that can stop Bitcoin: 1) Internet or power grid crashes; 2) a method of cracking the encryption is found/developed; 3) People are intimidated by their Government to give Bitcoin up; 4)governments and banks make a significantly and recognizably better altcoin.

"... if Bitcoin drops below $1,000, mining now becomes unprofitable... ." Wrong! If Bitcoin drops below $1000, what will the miners do? They will stop mining, or at least slow down their efforts, due to no profit. Then, what will the Bitcoin algorithm do if the correct number of bitcoins is not being mined daily? The algorithm will become easier, so that it will become profitable for the miners to start mining again, even though the price falls well under $1000. Then the miners will start mining again, and things will go on just like before.

Let's use the Constitution and the Bill of Rights rather than ignore it. Amendments 6, 7, 9, and 10 let you attack any person, including Government people, who harm you. If tax people steal your property in the name of the IRS, it is still the tax people that do it. Sue them as any common thief who enters your home and takes the shoe box of money out from under your bed. And if some judge throws you in jail simply for attacking an IRS agent legally, have a friend already set up with power of attorney to enter paperwork with the Court Clerk on your behalf.

Government is going to regulate itself right out of business. How? Through private trusts. - If your spouse gives you a bag of cat food, and tells you to go feed fluffy, you have a trust going. Your spouse is the grantor/settlor/creator, you are the trustee, fluffy is the beneficiary. The bag of cat food is the property owned by the trust. - Trusts can own anything, including money. When written properly, trustees can resign and appoint someone else as trustee. There you have it. Government doesn't regulate private trusts because of the freedom to contract.

And this is "news" why? This story was published in 2005 - just over 12 years ago. DARPA dropped the project long ago. Why is this in the Phoenix now?

Of Course, 1984 was written in 1948, so it predated Lucas' THX1138 by a couple of decades. Still, in THX1138, the main character goes rogue and wanders past an area where a number of young males are playing. They all have vials strapped to their arms and apparently permanent IV hardware. Suffice it to say, drugging youth got picked up in more than one place.

"There are real upsides to a mentality of "teacher knows best." Yes, and the reason it wouldn't work in the USA is immediately obvious: it requires teacher to actually KNOW stuff. Who wants to deify an "authority" that is often wrong? And given that 97% of teachers are currently documentable liberal drones, do you really want to go there anyway?

Sounds more and more like the USA is the "prince of the power of the air" that the Bible talks about.

In the economy, the military major is higher up than than the general. Why? Military spending is one of the MAJOR items that props up the banking Ponzi scheme. If the military were to become simply a GENERAL item, we wouldn't have all those wars that we are creating in various countries around the world.

In the movie THX1138, the main character goes rogue and walks by a group of young males (maybe 8 - 10 years old) who seem to be playing normally. The camera zooms in on a couple of wrists. Above the wrist, there is a medicine vial with a tube leading into the arm. I think George Lucas produced this in the early 70's.

Romans 13 in the Bible shows us 3 things about Government: a) God is Government above all other Government; b) Obey your Government; c) You are the one who selects which Government is your Government (although it is subtly shown).

If there is no market, we simply need to nourish them so that they remain positive. Then they will do like Satoshi Nakamoto. They will create many new and beneficial markets.

What we need is for people to get together and recognize when they and their neighbors are being hurt. Then they all need to recognize that you can use the jury trial not only when you are a defendant, but also when you are the prosecutor. Then they need to file a claim for damages against the people who are hurting them, be they Government people, or business people not in Government. The jury, often made up of like minded people, will decide.

Better re-read what it says. "... including, without limitation, property owned or occupied by the federal government..." Did it say private property anywhere? No. All that is included is "... property owned or occupied by the federal government..." This doesn't mean that some judge or other administration officer won't attempt to deceive uneducated people into believing something else.

I don't disagree with these fife points. My only question is, Why must liberty be protected by a test? If one fails even on one point, what then? Is he simply refused admission to 'the elect'? Or is he banned from the very presense of the author? Or is he banned from humanity (murdered)?

The essence of liberty is found in the golden rule: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." For those of us who don't understand this, it is found in God's command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." For those who find it hard to love, it can be done mechanically by obeying the Ten Commandments.

It doesn't matter. The only reason we have the IRS is because companies caved and supported the IRS. If an individual stands as a man/woman in court against the IRS, the man/woman has the right to face his accuser. All IRS accusers are the THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. If THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is unwilling or unable to get on the stand at the behest of a man/woman who is present/not represented, there is no case. - Not THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA human rep. THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA itself. Legal requirement, if you get rid of your lawyer, and don't represent yourself. Stand present.

Trump should put together a team to pardon all non-injury people who have been found guilty. Time to put the BAR in its place.

Check the cemeteries to see what your survival odds are anywhere on earth. Then focus on the thing that is important - eternal life. When you find Jesus salvation, God will listen to your prayers, and He just might allow you to miss the FEMA camps. But if He doesn't, He will protect you in the FEMA camps, so that you retain your salvation to live forever with Him in Heaven.
