We cannot afford a jobless recovery. Job stagnation is a recipe for all sorts of bad things at the local, state and national levels. Local and state governments continue to be hit hard by falling tax revenues, and decreased funding and will have to continue cost cutting in order to stay alive. ( I guess that means cut funding to the already lacking schools, and release state prisoners early). The federal government on the other hand in my opinion will never cut cost. They must continue to spend unprecedented amounts of money to keep the 20,000 corporate lobbyists happy. The Fed announcement - that the US added virtually no jobs in the private sector over a 10-year period - is basically an admission of their p***-poor monetary and policy blunders that’s been going on for decades. Many in congress remain completely clueless however; they still continue to be full of themselves. They claim they have all the answers to our problems. I only hope the voting public wakes up and vote them al
