Sorry for the shaking camera.

Ernest Hancock, Founder of Freedoms Phoenix, shares why he is certain that government is done.

He gives one example. The PRIVATE space travel successes.

Why hasn't there been any innovation in NASA?

Because it is a bureaucracy without incentives.

Elon Musk, Founder of Tesla, Space X, and Paypal, said:
"I want to die on Mars. Preferably not on impact."

There is hope.

Take this inspiration and the torch of freedom to your city, to your community, to your neighborhood, to your household.

The time is now.

What are you going to do about it?

Can MaidSafe Decentralize the Internet?

Posted by Daniel Larimer on January 30, 2015.

I have been following MaidSafe since before I learned about Bitcoin and I learned about Bitcoin back when I could still mine full blocks with my own CPUs. Back in those early days MaidSafe was not creating a crypto-currency and instead focusing mostly on distributed storage. Much has changed since then and there are many great things that MaidSafe is doing. Today I would like to offer my opinions on their efforts.

My first encounter with MaidSafe was when I was attempting to build my own decentralized storage network. I was very interested in distributed hash tables and was looking for implementations of the Kademlia algorithm. I was very excited to find their website; unfortunately, the code was not fully open source at the time and I was forced to wait until they published their latest version.

When I finally got my hands on their early code I was quite impressed. These guys are clearly looking to integrate the best software for solving the problem. What I really liked was their use of UDT (UDP-based Data Transfer) library which has set a very high standard of performance. I have also added basic support for UDT in my own C++ core framework, fc.

Webpage: http://www.eleutera.org/

The Eleuthera Foundation is a house of studies began operations in 2013, aimed at defending and promoting the ideas of freedom in Honduras, both socially and economically. This organization seeks to reverse the trend of weak institutions and institutional overreaching one of which responds to the needs of its residents, but primarily, one that allows for growth and individual creativity, strengthen the social fabric through trust between individuals and permits successful venture.

Eleuthera is a nonprofit organization that seeks to promote the ideas of liberty among the public, politicians, the media, and other organizations of civil society in Honduras organization. His instruments are research and publishing studies on social and economic issues affecting society as well as the organization of seminars and open to all agreements to discuss these issues. We are not associated with any political party or receive financial support from any government source.

In Honduras there are many worthy organizations that seek to improve the problems that afflict the citizenry. Some deal with the issue of corruption, other violence, other health or education. We deeply respect all these organizations and citizens of good will seek to work closely with them. But, there is a clear difference with most of them: we strongly believe that the solution to these problems lies in the principles of individual liberty and personal responsibility for those actions. We believe that any solution based on these principles is superior to those seeking response laws or interventions.

The term "libertarianism" or "libertarianism" in English, is now used to indicate various social and economic positions, and in many cases has been abused to the term used to refer to political positions that have nothing to do with the original meaning of word, Freedom and Responsibility. We use it to indicate any political, social and economic position ranging from classical liberalism (eg Locke, Smith or Spencer) to minarchism or minarchism (eg Nozick or Rand) or anarcho-capitalism or anarchocapitalism (eg : Rothbard). These philosophies and political positions are different from each other to some extent, but all rooted in the principle of individual freedom, or the right of the individual over himself. All share the old slogan universally known that dictates that the right of a person ends only where the right of another begins. This phrase, heard from small mouth of parents or teachers of primary, seems obvious no great importance. However, application of this principle to the social, economic and political life, involves a number of positions that are hardly considered obvious in reality, little obvious in the rich and developed countries, let alone in a poor region like Central America.
