Merissa Hamilton is a business professional with a 15yr track record of solving complex challenges in the Foodservice and Supply Chain industries. Most notably, in 2009, she helped successfully launch and lead a nationwide initiative in the Foodservice industry to drive waste out of the supply chain and create needed efficiencies to help the industry grow and meet increasing consumer and legislative demands. 

Outside of her career, Merissa is passionate about serving her community. She focuses her efforts on personally helping, housing and providing financial assistance to women in domestic violence or crisis pregnancy situations. Most recently she has helped families that have had their children unlawfully stolen from Child Protective Services, known as the Department of Child Services (DCS) in Arizona, such as "SAVE Braelon's Family" where a 14yo rape victim in Alabama had her less than 2 day old baby ripped from her while she was breastfeeding with no reason stated or due process. In Arizona, we have far too many similar reported cases of abuse by DCS against Arizona families. In most cases, it's nearly impossible for innocent parents to get their children back because the state makes $72,000 annually per child in federal dollars. In both the business and philanthropy environments, Merissa saw firsthand how disastrous government intervention can be no matter how well intentioned. Overbearing regulations create market interruptions that stunt the growth and success of businesses and the economy. She saw firsthand how government assistance traps people so it's nearly impossible for them to become independent once they enter the welfare system. All levels of our Federal Government are completely out of alignment with the scope and powers defined in the Constitution. The current system incentivizes corruption and penalizes liberty. 

Merissa is running for office to restore reason, logic and common sense to our US Senate representation for Arizona. Let's stop career politicians from interfering in our proud heritage of being a state that values the individual. Help Merissa return our representation back to the everyday citizens that are passionate and driven to solve problems --  just like they do in their private sector careers!
