Kent Heckenlively is a science teacher, an attorney, and a founding editor of Age of Autism.  During college Heckenlively worked for U.S. Senator Pete Wilson and was the school's Rhodes Scholar candidate.  In law school he was a writer and editor of the school's law review and spent his summers working for the U.S. Attorney's Office in San Francisco.

In the summer of 2010 and 2011, Heckenlively attended the Teacher Research Academy at Lawrence-Livermore National Laboratories, spending eight weeks in a virus lab investigating the expression of micro-RNAs in a monkey model of Ebola infection.  Kent is also a member of the Compass group, a consortium of autism parents, leading scientists, and philanthropists in Silicon Valley looking for answers to neuro-immune diseases.

Kent served on the Executive Council of the San Ramon Valley Education Association for several years and was the Health and Safety Committee Chairman for the teacher's union, representing more than sixteen hundred educators, therapists, and psychologists."I must confess that the two years spent writing PLAGUE have changed many of my views," says Heckenlively.  "I've been deeply impressed by the humanity and compassion of so many scientists, while at the same time have become more keenly aware of the political and financial obstacles that prevent scientists from making the kind of significant contributions to the well-being of society that they dreamed of at the beginning of their careers."

In the fight against chronic diseases, Kent finds great wisdom in the strategy used by Nelson Mandela in South Africa.  Mandela believed change could only come about when one engaged in satyagraha, a Buddhist concept which insists on speaking the absolute truth, while at the same time practicing ahimsa, a commitment not to harm those who might be your adversaries.

Author,  Kent Heckenlively J.D.  is a science teacher, an attorney, and a founding contributing editor of Age of Autism. During college Heckenlively worked for US Senator Pete Wilson and in law school he was a writer and editor of the school's law review and spent his summers working for the US Attorney's Office in San Francisco. His previous book, PLAGUE, written with Dr. Judy Mikovits, a twenty-year government scientist and former head of the Lab of Anti-Viral Drug Mechanisms at the National Cancer Institute, is one of the best-selling virus books of the past twenty years. Kent and his wife Linda live in Northern California with their two children, Jacqueline and Ben.

Science has a sacred obligation to tell the truth. The public expects our scientific and medical authorities to perform their work free of undue influence or bias. But what happens when our most prestigious institutions lie and attempt to destroy data which shows harm to children? Is that a crime against humanity?

In November of 2013, Simpson University biology professor, Dr. Brian Hooker got a call from Dr. William Thompson, a senior scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) working in vaccine safety.

Their conversations would lead to explosive revelations that top officials at the CDC engaged in a systematic cover-up of data showing that earlier administration of the MMR vaccine caused increased rates of autism in children, particularly among African-American males. Thompson would eventually turn over thousands of these documents to the office of US Congressman William Posey.

Science teacher and author, Kent Heckenlively, was granted access to this unprecedented trove of documents and uses them, as well as ground-breaking interviews with many of the key players in this debate, to tell the story of how vaccines have become a thirty-year disaster since passage of the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act which gave pharmaceutical companies complete immunity for damage caused by their products.

President Trump Drops NUCLEAR BOMB on Vaccine Mandates…

Wars are won by making political alliances.  If our side EVER wants to win we need to understand that simple fact.

By Kent Heckenlively, JD

It's not the differences with your allies which should worry you, but the DESTRUCTION your common enemy has planned for everybody who is even remotely on your side.

With the establishment on Thursday of the Conscience and Religious Freedom Division in the Health and Human Services (HHS) Office for Civil Rights, Trump has laid the groundwork to smash every single vaccine mandate as well as turn BIG PHARMA into little pharma.

Don't think this new division of Conscience and Religious Freedom at HHS is a big deal?

THINK AGAIN.  It gives many different groups a BIG TENT under which to fight.  I think it is time that Christians and Libertarians, and people of other religious faiths realize that we have a COMMON INTEREST in fighting against a FASCIST HEALTH ESTABLISHMENT.

Video Player

Yes, we should protect Catholic nuns who don't want to buy an insurance plan that provides for birth control.  And we should protect nurses who don't want to take part in abortions.  And we should protect those who do not want vaccines with aborted human tissue injected into their children, Muslims and Orthodox Jews who do not want vaccines with pig products, vegans who do not want  vaccines made with ANY animal products, or the conscientious parent who does their own research and comes to the conclusion that ALL VACCINES ARE A REALLY BAD IDEA.

Is it clear by this time I believe all of you are capable of coming to your own conclusions about vaccines?  I have my own opinion and I am happy to share, but I will not impose my will upon any other person.

Here's why this is such a BIG DEAL.

The House Majority Leader, Kevin McCarthy (R – California) is one of the people who worked on this project.  Do you think he is unaware of the draconian mandatory vaccine law in California which took away religious and philosophical (conscience) exemptions?

This new division at HHS is a HOME RUN for all those who believe in HEALTH FREEDOM.

In a press release put out on Thursday by the HHS Office for Civil Rights, Director Roger Severino said,

"Law protecting religious freedom and conscience rights are just empty words on paper if they aren't enforced.  No one should be forced to choose between helping sick people and living by one's deepest moral or religious convictions, and the new division will help guarantee that victims of unlawful discrimination find justice.  For too long, governments big and small have treated conscience claims with hostility instead of protection, but change is coming and it begins here and now."

In an article for TownHall, House Majority Leader, Kevin McCarthy was very explicit.

"In the past this office sent the message, now is not the time for freedom, it is time for you to conform.  What a difference one year makes."

Dr. Everett Piper of Oklahoma Wesleyan University echoed these comments and brought a laugh to the group by noting what a difference it was to be thanking Health and Human Services rather than suing them.

The acting Health and Human Services Secretary, Eric Hargan, also had some remarkable words:

"For too long too many of these healthcare practitioners have been bullied and discriminated against because of their religious beliefs and moral convictions leaving many of them to wonder whether they have a future in our healthcare system.  When faithful Americans are bullied out of the public square and out of public service, when bigotry is allowed to flourish, we all lose."

("Members of Congress Explain Need for New HHS Conscience and Religious Freedom Division," By Lauretta Brown, TownHall, January 18, 2018.)

The lawyer in me recognizes expansive legal language and my little litigator's heart rejoices with the arguments I can spin from it.

What about the HIPPA Privacy rights of nurses who decline the flu vaccine and are required to wear masks, thus broadcasting their vaccination status?  What of nurses who are given the choice of getting a vaccine or losing their job?

The new web-site for the Conscience and Religious Freedom Division even has a convenient portal to file a complaint and encourages ANYBODY who feels their religious rights or conscience have been violated to file a complaint.

What about all those California parents living under the mandatory childhood vaccine law?  Aren't their religious and conscience rights being violated?

President Trump has given us a tool to use against tyranny.  My dear brothers and sisters, it is time to pick up this weapon and use it against our common enemy.

THE STORM HAS ARRIVED!!!!

President Trump Should Keep His Promise on Vaccine Safety

https://stonecoldtruth.com/president-trump-should-keep-his-promise-on-vaccine-safety/

January 16, 2018 Editor 87 Comments

(By Roger Stone) Donald J. Trump cares about people and especially for the citizens of the United States of America. He sacrificed more than most can ever know in order to do his utmost to make America great again. He and his family are to this day suffering the slings and arrows of an out-of-control political class that seeks nothing less than their total destruction. As his first year draws to a close, however, his list of achievements impresses even his harshest critics. Cutting red tape, rebuilding our military, and restoring respect for America worldwide are but a few of his dozens of monumental achievements, but there is still much more work to do.

President Trump also stands against corruption and seeks to shine truth wherever he can in his desire to drain The Swamp.  The Swamp is not only the embedded political class and the federal bureaucracies but also corrupted special interests that seek their own gain at everyone else's expense.  Big Medicine and Big Pharma are two such special interest that have shielded their own from scrutiny by gaming the system and gaslighting their victims.

Only a couple of months into his presidency, in March 2017, Donald Trump launched a special commission to investigate the opioid crisis that is wreaking havoc across the United States.  He declared it a national emergency and has taken on Big Medicine and Big Pharma by calling them out.

Roger Stone

While on the campaign trail, then Candidate Trump promised to do whatever he could to help end the opiate scourge upon America, and he kept true to his word regardless of the pressures put upon him. Post-election he promised to appoint a special commission to investigate vaccine safety, however this is an important promise he has yet to keep.

There are significant studies that call into question the Status Quo party line that vaccines are safe. While the technology of applying a vaccine to preemptively shield against an illness is well studied and has proven efficacy, the actual industry of creating the vaccines that get pumped into Americans has undergone less scrutiny.

Through out his public life President Trump has repeatedly questioned the safety of vaccinations. While president elect he said he would appoint a commission headed by Robert F Kennedy Jr. the son of former attorney general and US Sen. Robert Kennedy to study the safety of the growingly mandatory vaccinations in widespread use in this country

Hour 2 - Edward Stringham (American Economist) on his Freedom Summit Presentation: The Fable of the Leeches

-30-

2018-01-26 Hour 2 Edward Stringham from Ernest Hancock on Vimeo.

Hour 2

Edward Stringham

Edward Peter Stringham is the Davis Professor of Economic Organizations and Innovation at Trinity College and president of the American Institute for Economic Research. He is editor of two books and author of more than seventy journal articles, book chapters, and policy studies. His work has been discussed on more than 100 broadcast stations, including CBS, CNBC, CNN, Headline News, NPR, and MTV. A frequent guest on Fox and a regular contributor to the Wall Street Journal, in 2016 Rise Global ranked Stringham as the 77th most influential economist. His book, Private Governance: Creating Order in Economic and Social Life, is published by Oxford University Press.

The Fable of the Leeches – Do markets depend on government contract enforcement and government rules against fraud? Most people say yes. Stringham, in contrast, will discuss how with small transactions the cost to use the legal system far exceeds the value at stake in a contract, and even with large contracts, the legal system often cannot solve problems quickly enough to be helpful for companies. Even though government courts exist, Stringham will describe how exchange is made possible because of private mechanisms to ensure contractual compliance, because of private governance.

The Fable of the Leeches

========================

From the first stock markets of Amsterdam,London, and New York to the billions of electronic commerce transactions today, privately produced and enforced economic regulations are more common, more effective, and more promising than commonly considered.

In Private Governance, prominent economist Edward Stringham presents case studies of the various forms of private enforcement, self-governance, or self-regulation among private groups or individuals that fill a void that government enforcement cannot. Through analytical narratives the book provides a close examination of the world's first stock markets, key elements of which were unenforceable by law; the community of Celebration, Florida, and other private communities that show how public goods can be bundled with land and provided more effectively; and the millions of credit-card transactions that occur daily and are regulated by private governance. Private Governance ultimately argues that while potential problems of private governance, such as fraud, are pervasive, so are the solutions it presents, and that much of what is orderly in the economy can be attributed to private groups and individuals. With meticulous research, Stringham demonstrates that private governance is a far more common source of order than most people realize, and that private parties have incentives to devise different mechanisms for eliminating unwanted behavior.

Private Governance documents numerous examples of private order throughout history to illustrate how private governance is more resilient to internal and external pressure than is commonly believed. Stringham discusses why private governance has economic and social advantages over relying on government regulations and laws, and explores the different mechanisms that enable private governance, including sorting, reputation, assurance, and other bonding mechanisms. Challenging and rigorously-written, Private Governance will make a compelling read for those with an interest in economics, political philosophy, and the history of current Wall Street regulations.
