About Us

Oath Keepers of Yavapai County was created by a friend, Chris Anderson, to whom we all owe a great debt!

When Chris left town for a great employment opportunity, Jim Arroyo was elected to lead.

Under Jim's guidance, and six members, we began to operate as Oath Keepers of Yavapai County in June 2014.

We followed the plan for Community Preparedness Teams and started with Communications.

Interest was generated and the group grew.

Then we started a Medical Team.

There was more interest and more growth.

With the support of many good citizens, eventually all the remaining teams were formed: Engineering, General Preparedness, and Security. But we also created some new teams: Home Medicine (herbs and plants), Intel, and Mobile Kitchen!

All of this has only been accomplished with the dedication of some incredible individuals who have stepped up to be team leaders, earning great respect from the group.

Our mission is to train everyone in the area to be prepared to survive any major disaster which may occur. Knowing the limitations of federal and local resources, we recognize that our survival, our medical care, our security, will be up to us – and IT WILL TAKE ALL OF US TO SUCCEED!

Former and current serving military, law enforcement and first responders, and many who never served in that manner, make up the Yavapai County Chapter, which meets at two locations:

The Verde Valley Group encompasses Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Sedona, and other towns in the area.

The Chino Valley Group covers the "quad cities area" around Prescott, and much more.

There is no membership, no dues, no sign in.

Just show up, and meet some terrific people working for the good of our communities.
