I think in a Paul Administration, Ernie would fill a role similar to that of the "Ragin Cajun" spinmeister fellow Carlyle, married to Mary Matalin,...the guy who was Clinton's attack dog he let loose on media appearances when they wanted their side defended without having anyone officially from the White House show up.

Thanks for the thought, but I can think of dozens of people that would serve the cause in that position much better.

I like being exactly where I am, nurturing the roots of the grass. This is where I do the most good.

We got a while before we start thinking about this position. My first thought was Karen Kwiatkowski,... one of the many good reasons is because she likely wouldn't do it.

I sure would like to see the Vice Presidential debates.

I imagine Ernie would say that if nominated he would run . . . for the border. If elected, he would fight extradition.

Well Paul would be assassination proof as long as Ernie and Ron were not together.
