Chinese dissident Yang Chunlin, who called for human rights to take precedence over the Olympic Games, has been sentenced to five years in jail on charges of inciting subversion.

While I was getting ready to post the link to this story on Reuters it changed right in front of me. ALL two paragraphs relaying the electric shock treatment Mr. Chunlin received upon sentencing was removed. There is no indication the story was updated, nor notes of the update, just poof ... cattle prod removed. Nor did the waybackmachine capture the older version of the story...sorry.
