The issue of citizenship should have started at a
state court. The selection/election of
presidential "candidates" starts with state political
parties via primaries and othe selection processes.
Ultimately the individual states via their selection
process elect the electors who in turn select the
president and vice president.

The issue/question of citizenship may push its
way up to the US Supreme Court. The question
does need a "settled" resolution.
