Was the war in Iraq worthwhile?

The war may have been needed, I think it was not fought for the reasons the people were given. The outcome will determine if it was worth the deaths that are going to rise once the American troops are out. (Viet Nam comes to mind here)
If we are to at war, I demand it be labled as a war, the entire nation be put on a war footing and we fight to win. If we are being used as military to protect commericial interests then to hell with it. Let them pay people to fight and not use American military, money and resources to increase the price of oil.
