New U.S. Afghan war strategy will cost billions, take years

President Barack Obama's choice to take charge of the war in Afghanistan called "significant growth" of the Afghan army and national police the key to his strategy, but the annual cost of building and maintaining the existing Afghan force is more than four times larger than the entire Afghan economy.

I can win this war in two months. That would be the time it would take to pull all the military from the country. Then allow the new government knowlege that if they go out side the set boundries they will not be fighting a ground war only the fast attack at night. It may be best to allow the enemy an area they control, as long as they understand any attacks around the world will be responded to by bombers and missel attack at any time or place and if they run to another country they will be hit.
