Drunken drivers face arrest at fast-food joint

• AP

Drunken Arizona drivers with the late-night munchies may soon be getting more than chicken strips at drive-through windows.

A new Pima County Sheriff's Office campaign dubbed Operation Would U Like Fries will target drunken driving by putting undercover deputies inside 24-hour fast-food restaurants to spot impaired drivers placing their orders.

As another sign of the struggling economy that industry insiders dubbed Operation No Thanks, I'll Eat Across the Street, certain drive-through windows have been devoid of customers during the overnight hours.

Obama administration officials are rumored to be preparing a fast-food bailout plan to relieve beleaguered chains from the burdens of the recently-imposed trans fat tax.

And the reason I would frequent a fast food restaurant or any other business who would let the cops surveil their customers?
