North Carolina senator shoots intruder at his home

A sheriff says North Carolina’s longest serving state lawmaker has shot one of two intruders who kicked in the front door of his home. Columbus County Sheriff Chris Batten tells The Star-News of Wilmington that 74-year-old state Sen. R.C. Soles shot the man who was taken to a hospital.

 Good for him !!!!!!!!! With a little training and practice he will be able to put 2 rounds into center mass and one in the head and take down both of them. For all you libs and anti gunners out there would you please put a "Gun Free Zone" sign on your front door so that criminals like this don't get shot. Isn't it better that you get shot and not them?
