The difference, as this author goes to great pains to point out, is that the prior presidents spoke to a school whereas Obama spoke to all the nation's schools at once in a big brother fashion. Now the precedence has been set, not only can kid expect a annual dose of propaganda from the White House, I am sure monthly visits from various federal bureaucrats will ensue. Home school.
