I don't want my Son and Daughter-in-Law to buy a house right now. My
son and daughter in law both have good jobs and a newborn and are
looking for larger place to buy. My wife is a real estate agent and has
been shopping with them for weeks. As prices plummet they are becoming
more excited by the opportunities.
I am of the opinion that the real
estate prices are very very far from the bottom and that what seems
like prices that are too good to be true will become a trap for them at
a young age in only a few months. I am willing to help them prepay for
a year lease on a nice home that is not in threat of foreclosure so
that they can start their life but not get trapped.
We are all part of
a very close and stable family with references that will make any
landlord feel at peace about the security of their property at a time
that that trait has a high value.
My son is only thinking about a low monthly payment on a home that
he would _own_. I understand this. But I want to give them another year
to evaluate a market that I am convinced is ready to plummet even more.
I place this ad in hopes that there is a potential home owner that
understands exactly what I talking about and will benefit from such a
relationship.
