Obama urges people to serve their communities

Calling public service "the essence of our liberty," President Barack Obama on Friday urged Americans to step up and volunteer in their communities. "In the end, service binds us to each other and to our community and to our country in a way that nothing else can," Obama said.

I don't exist to serve my 'community'. I helped form and maintain government to do that, and only to the extent appropriate.

As to the 'essence of our liberty'; the essence of my liberty is for Obama, his Czars, Wanks, Wonks, and his goose-stepping worshipers, to keep their collective nose out of my business, stay out of my way, and don't crap in my yard.
