Al Qaeda bomber tries to blow up Detroit plane, sets self on fire

A Nigerian man who said he was an agent for al-Qaida tried to blow up a Northwest Airlines plane Friday as it was preparing to land in Detroit, but travelers who smelled smoke and heard what sounded like firecrackers rushed to subdue him, the passengers and federal officials said.

Interesting. Every time something big happens in the news I wait until "we" get our research thing going.
Basically I'm always waiting until one of "us" blows the shit-whistle.

It makes one wonder if the MSM said there is a tidal wave coming, a storm, a volcano, whatever, we are so used to NOT trusting "official" sources that we probably not move a muscle.
