Obama urges creation of U.S. deficit panel

• Reuters
President Barack Obama called on the U.S. Congress on Saturday to create a bipartisan panel that would look at ways to rein in the country's soaring deficits.

Obama said in a statement the country faced a "serious fiscal situation" that stemmed from the recession he inherited from the Bush administration and years of "failing to pay for new policies."

Obama is not serious. If he was he would have Ron Paul lead the panel.

Besides I thought The Big O already had most of the social Fascist progressives as czars.

How qualified can this guy be? Any one who has even run a family should be able to figure out that burroacracies must disbanded, taxes lowered, spending cut...he needs a panal????? Sheeeessshhh! What a bucket of rocks!

Isn't asking CONgress to come up with a deficit reduction plan kind of like asking the pigs to guard the corn?
