Bill Maher is absolutely right on this one.  In fact, we can cut the military budget by 2/3rds and still be spending more than our next two rivals combined which is more than plenty to ward off an attack by another nation.  Since i am an anarchist, though, I think the military should be dispensed with entirely.  Let an armed militia of volunteers defend us.  No military would mean not intervention in other nations' internal affairs, which would mean no more enemies.  And no threat of attack from a nation state.  T.  Too many of the right winger's egos are tied up in a big military.  nhis is a fat load of "not gona happen" though

I watch this guy every Friday night, just to get pissed off. I respect his view on war and the military, and social freedoms, but he wants this massive distribution of wealth on top of it. I just can't take him seriously (i don't think you are supposed to, but you know what I mean).

I wish I'd thought of that hat first.
