This 1936 cautionary tale tells the tragic story of innocent teens Jimmy, Bill and Mary whose lives are turned upside down by the demon weed. One puff, the madness overtakes them and soon they are dancing like lunatics, laughing like jackals and occasionally committing acts of manslaughter. Made as a deadly serious attempt to warn parents of the dangers of marijuana, this film has become a popular classic among cannabis, ahem, enthusiasts as well as anyone who enjoys a good laugh at the expense of well meaning people from decades past.
